The check-in counters open 90 minutes before flight departure, and close promptly 30 minutes before your flight departs. You can avoid the queues and check in online or use the self-service kiosks at the airport. Bring your flight booking number, and for identification your valid driver's licence, green ID book or passport.
Avoid queues and ensure you sit together by checking in online, where you can print your own boarding pass or use kulula.mobi and check in on the go at least 24 hours prior to departure. If you've bought a pre-paid seat you must still check in. Use our self-service machines at the airport to print your boarding pass.
Boarding gates close 20 minutes prior to flight departure. If you fail to check in for your flight on time, this will constitute a cancellation and you may forfeit your ticket for your entire journey. If you're running late, call our Contact Centre ahead of time, we'll try to change your flight so you don't lose out.
You're allowed one free bag weighing up to 20kg per person. Hand luggage must weigh no more than 7kg. Baggage cannot be shared amongst travellers i.e. 2 people travelling cannot have one bag of 30kg. Purchase more bags online or call our Contact Centre 0861 KULULA (585852) to buy extra bags ahead of time and save up to 30%. Read our extra bag policy
